Design Camp

The first Design Camp, organized by the Minnesota Graphic Design Association (MGDA, later AIGA Minnesota), took place in 1980 at Lutsen Resort on the North Shore of Lake Superior. In the decades since, moving from Lutsen to Grand View Lodge outside Brainerd and to its current home at Madden’s on Gull Lake, Design Camp has presented top keynote speakers including design legends Louise Fili, Milton Glaser, Doyald Young, Gail Anderson, and Paula Scher, as well as next-generation leaders like Zipeng Zhu, Lawrence Azerrad, and Chip Kidd.

AIGA Philadelphia

The AIGA Philadelphia Scholarship Fund is an annual scholarship program that supports local undergraduate design students by awarding financial assistance to pursue their education. Scholarships will be paid directly to the student to be applied towards tuition, housing, expenses, or personal needs necessary to pursue their goals.

AIGA Austin Maura Rose Kampa Scholarship

Created to honor the spirit of Maura Rose Kampa, a bright young artist and design student and the daughter of David and Marcellina Kampa, the MRK Scholarship seeks to provide mentorship and financial assistance to talented undergraduate students of design, advertising, illustration and photography in Central Texas.

AIGA DC Design Continuum Scholarship

AIGA Worldstudio and AIGA Washington DC’s Design Continuum Scholarships benefit minority and economically disadvantaged students who are studying art and design disciplines in colleges and universities in the United States. While they both use the same application, AIGA DC will select recipients who are enrolled/attending DC, Maryland or Virginia colleges or universities.

Being a member of AIGA has given me access to educational resources for my professional development and business opportunities...it's opened the door to meaningful relationships with a diverse group of dedicated people with whom I'm proud to be in community with.
